The Little White House (La Caumine a Marie Best), an old guardhouse/powder magazine, gifted to the NT(J) as Le Don Hilton, located in the St.Peter section of St.Ouen's Bay (here on the map).
Sometimes I just can't resist going back there yet again to capture another light, another mood...
Three landmarks in one...
.. again.
Down the prom...
Oh no, not the comfy chair!
Yet more...
.. the other direction...
.. closer.
Low angle.
Standard pic, everyone does it.
Rusty railings took a battering by the waves!
I'm a bit iffy about this shot, but I thought I'd include it anyway in case anyone gets anything out of it.

St. Aubin harbour
On the north pier at St.Aubin (satellite map) ...
Looking over to the other, south, pier...
.. right a bit...
.. right some more.
Possibly the most cluttered pic I've ever snapped. Is there some rule that those covers all have to be the same blue?!
"Danger steps" really made me want to walk around there and try them out (how dangerous can they be?), but the company I was with couldn't be bothered :)
A gull the other side of the pierheads. Nice to see one by the sea for a change, instead of scavenging in town and nesting on chimneys.
Talking of town, over the bay...
.. there it is... not the best waterfront in the world, is it? A long dull strip of rubble with boring bland buildings above.
.. closer, with Victoria College up top.
Beaumont tower near the 'Gunsite' slip & cafe.
At another slipway, the cafe at La Haule - rebuilt after the storm that trashed it earlier this year.

Rozel from Le Couperon Point
As well as the dolmen, guardhouse, and the beach of Saie/Scez, Le Couperon (map) also offers views towards Rozel...
Wide angle...
.. closer (1 - with sky)...
.. (2 - with foreground coast)...
.. closer...
.. closer to the pierhead...
.. and colourful huts.
To the left, the area between the main slipway and the St.Martin/Trinity border (to the left here).

Dolmen du Couperon
At Le Couperon point by Saie/Scez, up on the headland by an old guardhouse is the dolmen du Couperon (aerial pic/map).
At times like this I sometimes wish I had a graduated filter, for that classic photo-art look so beloved of Top Gear these days. But no, I'll stick to my How It Really Is philosophy...
.. at least there's less kit to carry around :)
Bear with me...
.. I could go overboard with this...
Looks like a dolmen...
.. gosh yes, it is.
Closer.
Even I'm starting to think it's too much...
.. but hey.
That's that noxious weed Ragwort, isn't it?
Hey ho.
Back down to the lane.
Looking towards the sun isn't ideal.
Inside.. looking out.

Visible from South Hill...
I went for a walk up to South Hill, and when reviewing the pics I'd taken I was mildly surprised to find I'd taken no shots of anything actually up there, or of the harbour. It was all fairly obscure... :)
The playground, so you know immediately where South Hill is. I thought I'd seize the chance to take the pic as there were no kids there.
Jersey Eye big wheel in the distance...
.. closer.
They're planning to make the old pool a God botherer centre? The easiest joke to make is the one about the massive font.
Up Green St.
A view over Georgetown, Bagot, Longueville etc.
Seymour Tower visible behind the St.Clement coastline.
I got some sort of reflections in the pool even from this distance :)
