Fete de Noue kicks off

6.30pm, and this small piping band leads the way from West's Centre to...

.. the Royal Square...

.. now lit up for the festive season...

.. and attended by a sizeable crowd (the weather was kind) for the carol singing.

Meanwhile, to the right (but earlier in the day)...

.. it's still open :)

.. and not far away, some metalwork holding up the building (while it's being transformed into a new HSBC bank) is finally removed (back on the 19th Nov).

Trees look very festive. Any pics of the street decorations or are they not up this year??

Pics of street deco.s will appear at some point, no doubt :)
- yes, they're all up as usual, same lights as last few years.

thanks

Thank you. I am sure your pics will be up to their usual high standard in spite of being the same as in previous years. It all depends on the angle you take them from to give a different perspective and make them look different!!! I was over 5 years ago and took some them so it would be interesting to compare yours to my very humble snaps.
