Organised by the National Trust (Jersey), this human chain along the length of the "5 mile" St.Ouen's Bay gave thousands of proud islanders a chance to show how much they care about Jersey's beautiful coastline - and to say "STOP!" to any more overdevelopment that would spoil our gem of an isle.

Thank you so much for this truly moving sight. It goes to show how many people in Jersey are prepared to come out and value this beautiful island which I am still proud to call home.
