"Eleonora" arrival - replica of T.Davis's "Westward"
Thanks to my roving reporter friend for these pics (he has a similar camera to mine as luck would have it, and no interest in being named either!). He has kindly allowed me to work my 'magic' on them.... funny how much they look like my kind of pics once I've tweaked and 'cropped' them!

Misc II
More misc from recent weeks...
An old quarry between the prison and Beauport...
.. with stunning views...
.. over to Ouaisne and La Cotte, etc.
There used to be a stone carving of a birdlike dinosaur head here glued to this rock, but sadly some pathetic vandals have either stolen it or pushed it over the edge.
Nearby a bunker is used as a clubhouse by the local ham radio club.
A green lizard at Noirmont...

Quick roadside snap of St.Ouen's Pond.
100 or so yachts recently visited to take part in the start of the Tour des Ports de la Manche (tourdesports50.fr)
.. same pic, lightened up a bit.

A misty start from St.Aubin's Bay....
.. eventually. It started long after they said on the radio.

Misc
A bunch of Misc from recent weeks...
A calm day at Le Hocq, with reflections of individual clouds...
.. towards La Rocque.
At Greve d'Azette, looking towards...
.. the new incinerator (which has changed a bit since the pic was taken).
Probably the job with the best view in the island!
The old bus shelter at Grouville has been given a makeover by the kids from the local primary school...
