.. to the sound of hornblasts from other ships, the old bell ringing from Port Control, and fond farewells on the VHF radio.
In the 'small roads' one last time...
.. after many years faithful service.

Alas, I remember the FIRST Condor hydrofoil (like the one that appeared in Bergerac)!
Caused an impact when it arrived (metaphorically) by providing speedy access to St Malo.
