At the bottom of Mont des Louannes, opposite Gargate Mill - therefore between Resistance Nest Hagebuttenpark (La Hague Manor - St George's school) and the "kernwerk" up the footpath Chemin de Gargate.
Since they finished the new Million Pound Cyclepath, and with winter killing off the greenery, we can clearly see two shelter entrances from the main road.
A muddy parking area isn't too far away, near the bottom of Mont de l'Ecole. Hopping over the road, we set foot on the new path...
Crossing the bottom of Mont du Presbytere...
.. curvy path.. and a bit further along...
... to the right, the first of the two shelters.
Just a "wriggly tin" one, that's showing its age with a collapse and mudslide. Might be better to close this one off, sadly, in case off total collapse :(
And hiding behind an electrical installation, the second shelter...
... with a wall protecting the entrance.
With the usual litter.
This one hasn't collapsed, but...
.. for how much longer? The edge of the metalwork is visible outside. Just how strong is this stuff when it rusts away?
Autumn at the Zoo.

It's dark, damp, there's a chill in the air and the clocks go back. All
those little signs that autumn has clearly arrived.
So when a sunny Sunday arrives ...
