Stinky Bay - Le Pulec

At the Summer Solstice in June the sun sets ahead at L'Etacq in St.Ouen...

.. which is pleasant at Le Pulec around the corner (map)...

.. called Stinky Bay because of all the rotting seaweed that collects there.

I like the slipway here but this composition puzzles me - it seems to work full size, close up, but doesn't look right as a thumbnail..?!

Good job nobody was here when the rocks fell.

An Oystercatcher was very vocal...

.. closer.

A bit dim...

.. as the light fades.

Thanks R, I'll have to go back and take a closer look but it stank to high heaven and with all the flies as well we didn't hang about too long :)
