Prom - La Collette / Havre Des Pas

Photos taken last year, Autumn. Here's the prom showing a shelter that has since been demolished...

.. and the "insane-erator" :)

.. connected to the JEC chimney via this pipework.

In the more scenic direction...

.. a seafront cafe...

.. has been painted very brightly.

Near an old shipyard open space...

.. is a new block of appartments...

.. featuring a new artwork....

.. Bait Ball.

Looking outwards...

.. and a close-up - especially for regular blog reader Dottie :)

More of the prom...

.. and left a bit.

Thanks again, shame you're my only commenter these days! Not much motivation to add new photos, but I might get back into it at some point.

Have a great holiday!

Hi there, thanks for writing, glad you had a good trip over.

Sorry I've been quiet recently, just seem to have lost enthusiasm as well as being so ridiculously busy that I want to rest when I get time to myself, and mild depression makes taking my camera for a walk not so appealing these days.

I might get back into it, or head back towards video rather than stills as I seem to get more viewers with the moving format. I hate the thought of wasting my time for just a handful of viewers (even if one of them is as grateful as you - thank God!), and it's only you commenting here these days - even Dottie seems to have vanished!

Thanks

That cafe looks SO out of place purely because it's exactly the kind of thing you'd usually expect to see in a seaside resort.

The problem here is that Havre Des Pas is starting to look like a tarted up industrial estate with a bit of water out front.
