Ouaisne (pronounced "Way-nay") is the eastern side of St.Brelade's Bay. Down the hill there's only one narrow lane for access, and it can be a bit annoying squeezing past the oncoming traffic. This visit was early in the evening on a warm day where the sun was being a bit indifferent, but even so I had to get past 12 cars on the way down, and 9 on the way back up again afterwards!
The Jersey Round Tower (of Martello-ish vintage) on the common...
White doves on red
Green lizards were about...
.. trying to catch whatever warmth they could from the sun.
What was a derelict cafe has now been done up as a trendy cafe with large al fresco terrace...
.. a ruined shot crudely rescued - photo experts are welcome to scoff at the 'noise' (grain) :o)
A few hours at Hamptonne.

Time spent with a grandchild is precious. A couple of hours with Chloe is a
gift.
You need somewhere that feeds their imaginations, gives them free rein...
