Pottering about on Matey's boat, listening to the harbour channel (VHF 14), one hears assorted vessels (like this one, the Victor Hugo) being directed towards "number 1 berth" to "number 5 berth" on the Albert Pier...
.. starting from the Pierheads...
..the berths are where the landing stages are, and there's a white-on-black number painted on there if you look closely...
