ReplyDeleteUse Firefox and most popups don't happen any more.
But if they do, then a good well stocked HOSTS file takes care of it (and many annoying ads too). The HOSTS file is a safe and harmless file you place on your PC (a fairly bare one is there as standard) which contains a list of spam domains. The browser will not connect to anything in the list.
