Remembering

An educational recreation of WWI trenches has been built at Samares Manor, Jersey.

It's in a field between the manor house and Rue du Coin, this shot taken from the track from the lanes to the manor yard.







Entrance to the site is through a tent...







.. and barriers keep us away from the lads in the trenches, so they can try to experience the horrors of war as much as possible.
